Bowen Island is located 12 miles outside of Vancouver, at the entrance to Howe Sound. Access is by a 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. Whitesails is just up the road on the west side of the island, 10 minutes by bus or car, about a 1 hr. 20 min. walk.
Land in picturesque Snug Cove, where islanders and visitors shop and dine. Pick up fresh baked goods from the bakery, groceries and beverages at the general store.

Centre piece of Snug Cove are the Heritage buildings of the Union Steamship Company Marina dating from 1924 and now part of the 600 acre Crippen Regional Park.
